The difference between carbon film resistance and metal film resistance in appearance:
Metal films have five color rings (1%) and carbon films have four (5%). Metallic film is blue, carbon film is khaki or other colors. (micro resistance before the national standard is according to the color difference, metal film resistance with red, carbon film resistance with green.) However, due to the progress of technology and the appearance of fake gold film, these two methods are not very good, many times can not identify the two kinds of resistance.
